I totally agree with you. That was my guess for years. He has the typical looks of HIV positive people.

Well, when you think about his works, it's not a surprising that he may have been participating in serious gay/S&M scenes. Ok, when I say serious, I mean the real wild ones: barebacking and suchlike - all (more or less) chemical related.

I am not against those scenes and I understand the participant's enthusiasm for them. I know some people in those scenes, and they have the same type of "face" that Mr. Barker has now. It's hard to explain in a few words, but there's some aura. (And wasted face features). Extreme tanning to cover something and enhancement in the body's musculature are also typical in those people.

Whatever, I am pretty sure Mr. Barker is taking good medicine. Nowadays, with a proper care, HIV positive people live as long as others (I haven't seen anyone die from AIDS in my personal social network in the last 10 years. It was very different in the 80's and 90's)

The HIV virus is not a death sentence any more. Mr Barker, work more and continue to chill our spines, Sir!

I think the characters Henry Fonda played in some of his westerns would have made a great Edge, or maybe Charles Bronson, just not tall enough... Today, not sure, maybe Sam Elliott or an older, dark haired Ben Affleck.

I've enjoyed this series since I started reading them in 1980. I also agree, that a movie should be made based on the Edge character. Would be a great movie. This is the most awesome series ever done.

Hey RJ, I found your story while searching on Google for stories about psychoanalysts. Your story is very interesting and also very moving! It feels as if it's based on real events.
